Description

The Wood Original floor bed in oak is made for the little one who has outgrown the cot and is ready for more freedom. The low bed clearance lets children from around two years old climb in and out on their own.

Enclosed sides create a cosy, secure place to sleep, while the generous 90 x 200 cm size leaves room for play during the day and a bedtime story side by side at night. A leather strap at the headboard and hidden screws give it the calm Nordic look of the Wood Original series. Made from white-oiled solid oak and moulded birch veneered in oak. As a natural material, every piece of oak has its own grain and subtle differences in tone.

Add a bed guard for extra safety at night (sold separately). As your child grows, the floor bed can be converted into a day bed or another Wood Original bed with a conversion kit.

What is the difference between the floor bed and the house bed?

Both have the same low bed base, enclosed sides and 90 × 200 cm mattress size. The house bed adds a house-shaped frame of 150 cm high that you can dress with a tent or canopy; the floor bed is 56.5 cm high without a roof.
